Australia ends partnership with the Israeli Ministry of Defense and Elbit Systems

The government of the Australian state of Victoria announces that it will not renew a memorandum of understanding with the Israeli Ministry of Defense to "support greater collaboration on defence industry objectives.” The government also confirms that it is no longer engaged in a partnership with the Australian subsidiary of Elbit Systems. The decision came amid public pressure to release the details of the MOU.
